Europa and the Sea
Bull: The Missing Link Between Phoenicia and France

By now, most readers should be familiar with the story of the Quinotaur,
the mythical sea beast (part-bull, part-fish) that sired the race of Merovingian kings. But what has heretofore
served as the beginning of the Merovingian saga is only part of the story.
For the first part of the drama, we must go back to the ancient sea peoples
of Phoenicia.
One of the strange legends of the Phoenicians involves the disappearance of Europa, the daughter of
Canaan 1, the son of Poseidon. I
n some versions of the story, Europa was a princess, in others, the daughter
of a god.
She was said to be exceedingly beautiful, and her father's favorite. One day
a servant came into the palace and told Europa that a beautiful white bull had appeared mysteriously on the beach.
Intrigued, Europa went down to see the unusual creature.
The bull, we are told, was indeed very beautiful, and seemingly very tame and
playful. Europa wrapped garlands of flowers around its horns, and frolicked beside it. Encouraged by the creature's gentleness,
she climbed atop it, and it ran about the beach to her utter delight.
Then, unexpectedly, the creature turned and ran toward the ocean. The servant
ran after the two, but it was no use.
The bull had run into the waves and had begun to swim out to sea.
Europa's handmaiden could only watch in helpless horror as the vision of the
princess disappeared off into the distance.
This same story is told by the Greeks, the only exception being that the
figure of Canaan is replaced by Aegeanor (from whose name we derive the Aegean Sea.)
Perhaps the oddest aspect of this unusual story is that historical chroniclers
deny that its purely mythological.
Herodotus says that the story of Europa was
based on a real incident, and that she was in fact an historical personage.
Though such a claim is certainly bizarre, it seems no less bizarre than the
fact that the continent of Europe should have taken its name from the central figure in such a story.
Why name a continent after a girl associated with the notion of being taken
away by a sea bull?
It only starts to make sense when one considers the story of Europa in conjunction
with the story of the Quinotaur.
The tale that begins with the kidnapping of Europa is finished by the myth of
the Quinotaur, who sires a race of sacred kings.
For the Greeks (and many scholars), the sea bull of the
Europa saga is seen as Zeus, the god traditionally associated with (or personified as) a bull. But bulls
were also associated with many of the gods and kings of Phoenicia and Sumeria.
In fact, the figure of the sea bull can be traced directly to the figure of
Dagon, discussed elsewhere in this issue.
An alternate name of Zeus was Dyaus, and an alternate name for Dagon was Daonos.
So it would seem that Zeus and Dagon were different labels,
applied by different cultures in different times to essentially the same figure.
This of course is a very common process, and one that is encountered repeatedly
in even the most superficial comparisons of one mythology to another.
The kings of the most ancient cultures in time become their gods, and repeatedly
the gods of dominant cultures become the gods of less dominant ones. So it is that the sea bull of Europa is one in the same
as the Quinotaur of the Merovingian kings, and as the Quinotaur was the legendary father of European monarchs,
the mother was Europa, after whom they named their continent.
This depiction
of a "Quinotaur" was drawn by Sir Francis Dashwood, notorious founder of the Hellfire Club, and co-conspirator of Arch-Mason,
Ben Franklin. It is believed to have been drawn on Dashwood's first trip to Italy, and based on a statue from the palace of
Nero.

Outside the context of the royal court however, these ladies would have been thought

FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION PRELIMINARY REPORT ON THE RECOVERY OF PIPER SARATOGA AIRCRAFT OF JOHN F. KENNEDY, Jr.
1. No declassificatin until 7/22/2029.
2. This is in deference to the wishes of a senior member of the Kennedy
family.
3. Also in deference to the order of the national government and in respect to certain foreign intelligence
agencies having reciprocal agreements with the U.S.
4. POTUS order and national security findings attached.
5.
The recovered aircraft shows evidence of an explosive device having been glued or affixed within the tail luggage compartment.
6. Device was apparently actuated by a barometric trigger. Radio signals not ruled out.
7. Tail of aircraft
was dismembered from the plane making it front heavy.
8. Study of radar shows the plane fell in excess of 6,000 feet
per minute up to radar cutoff.
9. Satellite images supplied by the National Reconnaissance Office record an outbursting
flash from the aircraft just prior to it going into perpendicular descent.
10. Tail structure was dismembered just
prior to descent.
11. Recovery of a piece of luggage from beyond the flight path of the aircraft correlates with it
being hurtled out of the tail luggage compartment at outburst.
12. Preliminary examination of the aircraft shows residue
of an explosive device the Laboratory identifies as being the type used by certain foreign intelligence agencies. Refer to
POTUS order and findings.
13. Study of Air Traffic Control and other radio signals shows no Mayday report from the
aircraft, explained by rapidity of descent.
14. Investigation and examination has been strictly compartmentalized.
15. A short, perfunctory examination of the recovered bodies was completed. Examination revealed that Carolyn Bessette
Kennedy was in third trimester pregnant, the fetus a boy.
The four bodies
were transferred to a senior member of the Kennedy family. The Bureau was not informed whether the bodies were actually cremated.
Indirect advisories report that the bodies may have been shipped in untagged containers to foreign destinations.
Reliable assets are to submit report.

Philae
Welcome to Philae, home of the Temple dedicated to
Goddess Isis and constructed on the beautiful island of Philae. Philae the modern day name is greek but the ancient Egyptians
called the island P-aaleq which amongst other definitions has the dual meaning of "end" and "creation". It is believed that
the various structures contained on Philae Island took 800 years to build (mostly during the roman period). In addition to
the priests practicing daily rituals the island was the home of various stone masons, carpenters, and other crafts men continusly
building and extending structures.
However the building of the Aswan Dam (see Nile page) almost wiped out the
Island and its history. Fortunately an amazing rescue mission saved Philae. Flooded Philae was pumped dry by the Egyptian
government and UNESCO through the use of a coffer dam. Philae temple itself was carefully dismantled, so that it could be
relocated away from danger. Interestingly each block of the temple was labelled and its position carefully recorded, so that
it could be reconstructed in exactly the same format. Even the site on which the main Philae temple rests, was landscaped
so that it would look like the site on which the temple was originally standing. The rescue mission took 10 years to complete
and involved the movement of blocks weighing 27000 tons in total.
Philae is a magnificent example of modern day advancements
enhancing historical monuments. One such event being the nightly Sound and Light show. During the show, buildings will be
floodlit to produce silhouetes on the island's volcanic rocks and water.
Approaching from the south the first structure
on the island belongs to Nectanebo. This vestibule originally had 14 columns of which only six remain. The double stairway
leading to the vestibule has also been taken away by the Nile. After the vestibule there are two colonnades (the eastern colonnade
and the western colonnade) which lead to the temple of Isis ( the main temple at Philea). The eastern colonnade was never
finished.
First pylon of the temple of Isis is at the end of the two colonnades. This pylon was built by Ptolemy
XII and depicts the king overcoming his enemies and worshipping the Goddess Isis. The first pylon leads into the east courtyard
which contains a birth house (mamissi) and a roman chapel. The birth house contains releifs of Isis suckling her son Horus.
The eastern court also contains a colonnade. This colonnade has ten pillars, and five rooms each with two storeys. It is believed
that these rooms had various functions including performing as a library, laboratory for sacred oils or simply as meeting
rooms where priest gathered.
At the end of the east court colonnade is the Taharqo altar. this altar is believed to
be the oldest structure on the island. After the second Pylon the Hypostyle Hall is situated. The ceilings of the Hypostyle
hall is illustrated with the vulture (the sign of upper and lower egypt) and the barques of day and night. Behind the Hypostyle
hall there are three antechambers and a sanctuary. One of the antechambers contains a staircase which leads to a chapel dedicated
to the God Osiris. This chapel contains releifs depicting the death and mourning of God Osiris. Interestingly the sanctuary
still contains the pedestal on which the barque of Isis would have rested.
Outside the temple of Isis, the island
of Philae houses various other structures including the Temple of the emperor Hadrian, Temple of Hathor and Trajan's kiosk
(Pharaoh's bed). The temple of Hathor contains reliefs of the Bes the dwarf God (whom the ancient egyptians believed helped
during childbirth and promoted fertility), musical scenes including an ape playing a musical instrument.
On
the left is a photograph of Trajan's kiosk which is contained within the temple's grounds. The kiosk is named after the emporer
who rebuilt it. The statue of Isis would undertake an annual procession down the river Nile. At the end of the annual journey
the sacred barge transporting the statue of Isis would land on the kiosk. The kiosk has 14 columns with screen walls. The
screen walls display images of Trajan making offerings to Isis, Osiris and Horus. If you intend to see the sound and light
show, it is worth noting that the Kiosk is also illuminated during the sound and light show as can be seen in the photograph
bottom left.
Philae Island is famous for the legend of Isis and Osiris . For example the pylons within the temple
of Isis contains depictions of the deities involved in this famous ancient Egyptian myth. Goddess Isis is the wife of Osiris
and mother of God Horus. In the myth Osiris was murdered by his brother the wicked God Seth. Seth scattered Osiris pieces
in various places. Isis tireleslly searched for Osiris's body parts and then using her Goddess powers to join the pieces together
and bring Osiris back to life. Following Osiris' resurrection Isis and Osiris conceived Horus. Osiris then adopted the role
of "God of the under world and judge of the dead. At the end of the tale Horus grows up to avenges his father by defeating
Seth in combat.
Philae became the legendary burial place of Osiris.
Isis is associated with funeral rites
but as she resurrected Osiris and is the mother of of Horus she is also the giver of life, a healer and protector of kings.

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy (January 7, 1966 – July 16, 1999), née Carolyn Jeanne Bessette, was the wife of John F. Kennedy, Jr., the son of assassinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy. She died at age 33, along with her husband and sister Lauren Bessette, when the private plane that her husband was piloting crashed in the Atlantic Ocean near Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Their ashes were scattered at sea on July 22, 1999
Early life
Bessette was born in White Plains, Westchester County, New York, the youngest daughter of Dr. William J. Bessette and Ann Messina, an administrator in the New York public school system. She grew up in affluent Greenwich, Connecticut, and attended St. Mary's High School, where she was voted an "All-Around Beautiful Person." After graduating from Boston University in 1988, she went to work at a Calvin Klein store in Boston.
Marriage to John F. Kennedy, Jr.
With her height and cool blonde looks, Bessette occasionally worked as a model. She
was a saleswoman for the Boston Calvin Klein store before being transferred to New York, where, ostensibly as a publicist
(but actually a saleswoman for celebrities and other high-profile customers purchasing the high-end Calvin Klein clothing),
she met John F. Kennedy, Jr.. The attractive couple became a popular paparazzi target, with gossip columns detailing where they ate, shopped and even the arguments they
had. Photographers waited outside their Tribeca apartment to snap photographs. Bessette was reportedly very uncomfortable with the media
frenzy and the repeated comparisons to Jacqueline Kennedy. She married Kennedy on September 21, 1996 on Cumberland Island, Georgia in a historic Baptist church. The wedding was small and secret in an effort to elude the
media.
Death and aftermath
On July 16, 1999, Bessette-Kennedy left Essex County Airport in Fairfield Township, New Jersey in a small plane piloted by her husband to attend a family wedding in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Her sister Lauren (who was survived by a twin, Lisa Ann) was to be dropped off at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts before the couple continued on to their destination. The plane never arrived
at Martha's Vineyard, and was discovered 4 days later. Although the actual cause of the crash cannot be known, it is the official
determination of the NTSB that a confluence of circumstances, including poor visibility at nightfall, along with Kennedy's

The Wedding in Canaan
Much is made of Moses placing the “mantle” (of kingship) on Joshua son
of Nun. Strangely though, the succession of Joshua is afterwards not even mentioned.
Instead we get the impression that with the death of Joshua there was no recognized
king in Israel until Saul and then David.
In the interim, the Israelites “did what was right in their own eyes”
and were governed more or less by “judges.”
In the Old Testament, the predecessors of King David are named as Jesse, Obed, Boaz,
Salmon and Nahshon.
It is only in the Book of Matthew that the “harlot” Rahab of Jericho is
identified as the mother of Boaz.
Armed with this new intelligence about Rahab, we might boldly advance that the mantle
or birthright passed from Joshua son of Nun to Salmon son of Nahshon.
However, the Hebrew name Salmon (also written Sala) literally means “mantle”
and the root sal connotes “salvation.”
Therefore, it can be trumpeted long and loud that Salmon son of Nahshon was more commonly
referred to as Joshua son of Nun.
The name Nun is also written as Non and was consequently a short form of Nahshon.
If Joshua and Salmon were two epithets of the same person, then it follows that Rahab
became the wife of Joshua and Joshua the father of Boaz.
Indeed, we are told in the Book of Joshua (6:25) that Rahab “dwelled in Israel”
after the conquest of Joshua.
The Hebrew word translated as “dwell” (yashab) can also be translated
as “marry.”
However, if the hero Joshua had been the direct ancestor of King David, then why would
this not have been fully recorded and celebrated?
First of all, the former marriage(s) of Rahab made her nuptials with Joshua something
less than right in the eyes of Israelites.
Perhaps more disturbing, the future heir Boaz may not have been a true offspring of
Joshua, but a child born to Rahab by a former husband, that is, a son of a rival or foreign king who was only adopted by Joshua!
Thirdly, Rahab herself may have been considered a non-Israelite, and a hated Egyptian
queen at that.
The Hebrew word for harlot, zonah (zaw-naw’), makes a ready play with the Hebrew
word for queen, that is, sarah (saw-raw’).
Both before and after her name was changed from Sarai (“domineering”)
to Sarah, the sister-wife of Patriarch Abram also found herself in a compromising position and her reputation in considerable
danger.
While trying to become pregnant, she was first taken into the harem of a pharaoh of
Egypt and then a king of the Philistines in Canaan.
As a result, Sarah like Rahab was subjected to a stereotype and prominent double standard
of her time.
Women of common birth were considered to be the property of their husbands and could
be punished by death for adultery.
On the other hand, royal women (such Sarah and Rahab) emulated the great goddesses
in their sexual freedom and virtual equality with gods.
Like Isis in Egypt, Inanna and Ishtar of Mesopotamia, and Asherah in Canaan, women
of high birth were actually encouraged to seek out and have children by multiple partners - with or without the covering of
marriage.
In the Egypt of Rahab, a leading queen was designated as the “God’s Wife.”
She could have numerous children (“holy births”) by various kings (“gods”)
and still be considered a virgin.
Outside the context of the royal court however, these ladies would have been thought
of as no better than whores, and the Biblical authors often found it a convenient artifice to model them as such.
Redeeming Magdalene
The epithet Magdalene has the Hebrew meaning of “tower.”
By virtue of this glaring allusion to Old Testament precedent, the marriage of Jesus
and Mary Magdalene is not only to be suspected but also completely expected.
As Jesus is patterned after Joshua, so Mary Magdalene is typecast as the incarnation
of Rahab.
Consistent with this, Mary Magdalene (“Mary of the Tower”) must be rescued
by Jesus even as Rahab was by Joshua.
Joshua marches around the city of Jericho seven times.
Similarly, Mary Magdalene is delivered from the influence of seven “evil spirits.”
That is, before becoming the disciple, patroness, and especially bride of Christ,
she would first have to be divorced from a number of encumbrances, not the least of which was a “bad marriage.”
Joshua kills the king of Jericho and liberates Rahab.
Therefore by association, Jesus must kill, at least figuratively, those who wanted
to confine Mary Magdalene in a tower, that is, to negate her power by engaging her in compromise with the present overlords
of the land.
Ironically, the much-criticized union with Mary Magdalene actually served to make
the Messianic claim of Jesus more legitimate from a Scriptural perspective.
Tradition held that kingly Joshua was married to a harlot, or at least to a woman
who had assumed the literary guise of one.
And this is the context in which we must consider the depiction of Mary Magdalene.
As with her Old Testament archetype Rahab, Mary Magdalene in reality would have been
of the highest social standing, a veritable “queen” and “goddess” within Jewish society of the time.
And like Rahab, the true status of Mary Magdalene is downplayed in Scripture but not
fully suppressed.
Her wealth and influence were not only helpful to Jesus, but actually a necessary
part of her prophetic profile that needed to be documented.
Moreover, her class distinction in turn unveils that of Jesus himself.
Rehab is the second of four women listed in the genealogy of Jesus Christ (not including
his mother), but is the most important as far as the Gospel presentation is concerned.
She is the only woman associated with Joshua son of Nun, the namesake of Jesus, and
a type of “secret wife.”
For effect, Rahab is also placed in the company of three other women who were renowned
for assertiveness, Ruth, Tamar, and Bathsheba.
They were chosen because of all Old Testament women they along with Rahab most nearly
captured the heart and mission of Mary Magdalene.
To varying degrees, all four “played the harlot” in order to improve their
marital satisfaction and the welfare of their children.
For taking courtly initiative each risked the painful stigma of adultery.
Ultimately all were rewarded with greater status in their lifetime and recognized
by posterity as integral to the Messianic line.
The motherhood of Rehab is only made explicit in the Gospels for the purpose of explaining
to those who had “ears to hear” why believers were not to proclaim from every housetop the good news of Jesus’
marriage along with his saving message.
There were very practical reasons for hiding the family life of Jesus under a bushel,
and it also honored precedent.
The marriage of Joshua and Rahab is disguised in the Old Testament.
Moreover, after Joshua and Rahab there is a perceived latency or incubation period
of the “judges” before the advent of a renewed native kingship in Israel under King David.
Again, this provided a blueprint for Jesus and his inner circle to follow.
In the short term, the Messianic successors of Jesus would need to guard their plan
and cultivate belief in Jesus among the masses.
However, within a few generations a Davidic figure would be expected to emerge from
this Messianic line, and in the manner of both David and Joshua, he and his army of zealous followers would “take up
the sword” and “take the kingdom by force.”
Considerable understatement and indirection is used in the Book of Joshua account
of Rahab.
Yet, her royalty (and therefore also that of Joshua) can be easily recognized by the
pseudonyms and symbols masterfully woven as Biblical textile.
This narrative style inspired the later Gospel accounts in which an imperiled royal
line is again not only revealed in Jesus but also re-concealed to those who were not fully initiated into the “mysteries”
of the new religion.
Christianity was from its conception thrust into the world as a two-edged sword.
The fact that Mary Magdalene is strongly typecast in the Gospels as Rahab is certain
proof that privileged leaders of the early Christian Church fully acknowledged her role as mother of a new ruling house.
To wit, the basis for that role is easily established from canonized Scripture alone.
If Jesus were intended to be a Messiah to end all Messiahs, then there would have
been no point in even mentioning Rahab, or Tamar, Ruth and Bathsheba for that matter, in the genealogy of Christ.
However, they are, and with the realization that Jesus had a regal wife comes the
knowledge that he also had an underlying political agenda.
Therefore, Rahab of the Old Testament represents the cherished New Testament “Bride
of Christ” in more than one sense.
She prefigures the body of believers who were to be “saved” and “sanctified”
by Jesus, but more tangibly foreshadows Mary Magdalene as the liberated woman of Christ and a willing accomplice in dynastic
intrigue.

Carolyn Bessette-Kennedy (January 7, 1966 – July 16, 1999), née Carolyn Jeanne Bessette, was the wife of John F. Kennedy, Jr., the son of assassinated U.S. President John F. Kennedy. She died at age 33, along with her husband and sister Lauren Bessette, when the private plane that her husband was piloting crashed in the Atlantic Ocean near Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. Early life
Bessette was born in White Plains, Westchester County, New York, the youngest daughter of Dr. William J. Bessette and Ann Messina, an administrator in the New York public school system. She grew up in affluent Greenwich, Connecticut, and attended St. Mary's High School, where she was voted an "All-Around Beautiful Person." After graduating from Boston University in 1988, she went to work at a Calvin Klein store in Boston.
Marriage to John F. Kennedy, Jr.
With her height and cool blonde looks, Bessette occasionally worked as a model. She was a saleswoman
for the Boston Calvin Klein store before being transferred to New York, where, ostensibly as a publicist (but actually a saleswoman
for celebrities and other high-profile customers purchasing the high-end Calvin Klein clothing), she met John F. Kennedy, Jr.. The attractive couple became a popular paparazzi target, with gossip columns detailing where they ate, shopped and even the arguments they had. Photographers
waited outside their Tribeca apartment to snap photographs. Bessette was reportedly very uncomfortable with the media frenzy and
the repeated comparisons to Jacqueline Kennedy. She married Kennedy on September 21, 1996 on Cumberland Island, Georgia in a historic Baptist church. The wedding was small and secret in an effort to elude the media.
Death and aftermath
On July 16, 1999, Bessette-Kennedy left Essex County Airport in Fairfield Township, New Jersey in a small plane piloted by her husband to attend a family wedding in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Her sister Lauren (who was survived by a twin, Lisa Ann) was to be dropped off at Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts before the couple continued on to their destination. The plane never arrived at Martha's
Vineyard, and was discovered 4 days later. Although the actual cause of the crash cannot be known, it is the official determination
of the NTSB that a confluence of circumstances, including poor visibility at nightfall, along with Kennedy's relative flying
inexperience in these conditions and his recently-healed broken leg caused him to lose his bearings. The plane crashed into
